5 Reasons to Buy a Crib Tent
51
Are you considering buying a crib tent? Or perhaps you already have your mind made up. The reasons why you would need one are really overwhelming and speak for themselves. Crib tents are increasingly becoming more popular and it's no wonder. Take a look at the following five good reasons why every household should have one:
1: Cats. Cats love to climb into cribs and sleep against warm cuddly babies. The problem is that babies aren't capable of rolling out of the way when a cat snuggles against their faces. This is a serious problem and can result in death. A crib tent will keep your cat out of the crib.
2: Insects. Crib tents are made of a very fine mesh which is great for keeping mosquitoes and other insects away from your baby.
3: Baby getting stuck. Crib tents are designed with mesh sides that go all the way down to meet the crib mattress inside the crib. This feature prevents babies legs or arms from getting stuck between the crib bars (this sometimes happens when older babies sleep)
4: Siblings. Ironically enough, a crib tent can save your baby from hard surfaced toys being launched into their cribs by older siblings. Most brothers and/or sisters have the intention of sharing of course (!) but they don't realize the potential danger if baby gets hit.
5: Climbers. If you have a toddler that loves to climb out of his or her crib than a crib tent will more than likely save your sanity! Crib tent = baby stays in crib.
Bonus: Baby can't throw his or her toys out of the crib either!

I was just wondering what to get my friend who's just had her first baby, and one of these seem like an ideal thing to get to help them out. I know they have so much stuff to get, every little helps.
